29 January 2010 - Visit Florida dinner scores top marks with Strictly Come Dancing judges
Create Events produced a spectacular Strictly Come Dancing themed event for the Visit Florida dinner at London's Quaglino's recently. Six couples from travel delegates visiting the International Travel Show at Exel took time out to be taught intricate ball-room steps just a few days before the event. The couples were introduced by Strictly's voice-over man Alan Dedicoat and took to the dancefloor in an intense dance-off. Strictly's Vincent & Flavia helped judge the competitors, and the wining couple were presented with a glitterball trophy.
10 December 2009 - Globe Girls drag up motivational party
The Globe Girls and Jet Black performed at a Priscilla Queen of the Desert themed event for asset management company Marcol for their UK and European offices. The event featured some crazy team activities such as learning the dance for 'I Will Survive', dressing like a Diva, and creating a glamourous Diva logo. The event included a catwalk where staff learnt to strut like a diva, and a fabulous singing finale!

17 February 2009 - Wild West themed Christmas party - in February!
Create organised a bespoke Wild West themed party for a major clothing retailer in February in what is a growing trend to leave Christmas parties until the New Year. Over 800 people attended the costume party in a huge marquee and warehouse, converted into a nightclub. Entertainment included a whip cracking Wild West show, a yee ha country band, a Will Smith lookalike rocking the 'wicky wah wah' and of course Scott Mills DJing into the small hours.
17 February 2009 - Promo Marketing for Seasons Holidays
Create supplied a promo team for Seasons Holidays experiential campaign over Christmas. The team was involved in data capture, questionnaires and promotional giveaways, targeting thousands of clients.
10 November 2008 - Big Night Down Under
Sandown Racecourse was turned all Aussie by Create Events for their Race Day, which included Surfer themeing, a virtual beach with sand and volleyball, Tiki Bars and surf boards. We even managed to persuade Rolf Harris's didgeridoo player to 'go walkabout'.
14 August 2008 - Fashion TV at Sandown Racecourse
We provided a complete filming package including a glamorous presenter who chatted to the ladies about their outfits around the racecourse, highlighting the Best Dressed Competition and promoting the racecourse attractions. This was broadcast live on the Race Tech screens and was also edited and shown at opportune moments throughout the day. It made a dramatic impact and gave Sandown Racecourse's Ladies Day a personal touch with a celebrity A lister tone!
28 May 2008 - London City launch new Aircraft Stands
Create helped London City Airport launch their new £30 million stand expansion with a 50's themed party on the Royal Docks. Guests were invited on the Erasmus boat to cruise up and down the dock, viewing the new aircraft stand area, whilst the Chief Executive christened the new dock with a bottle of Champagne. So Sinatra band played 'Come Fly With Me' and other appropriate songs, whilst the party was hosted by Captain Dusty Limits and his glamourous flying assistants.
21 May 2008 - VLM Airlines celebrate 15th anniversary at London City Airport
VLM Airlines celebrated their 15th birthday at London City Airport by giving away an Antwerp Diamond. The two day promotion involved both a Shirley Bassey performer singing 'Diamonds are Forever' and a Marilyn Munroe lookalike singing 'Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend' to guests and commuters at London City. Crystal keyrings were given away whilst staff posed around a giant glittering diamond. For a video of the party at London City click here.
07 May 2008 - Create launch three routes for British Airways at London City Airport
British Airways promoted 3 more routes to Barcelona, Amsterdam and Warsaw with a spectacular dance show at London City Airport. Dancers were dressed in traditional costume representing each destination country, from tulips to castanets and fiery flamenco dancing. A dance for each country culminated in a joint finale performed to the Lakme Flower Duet theme. We also produced a large branded signpost pointing out the new routes with their short travel times. 01 April 2008 - British Airways launches Nice route from London City Airport
The red carpet was rolled out at London City Airport to launch British Airways new route to Nice from London City. Paparazzi photographers were on hand to capture the glamourous passengers posing under the lights and on the red carpet walkway to departures. A roulette wheel gave travellers the chance to try their luck on the fun casino, and a taste of the delights of the French Riviera. 26 February 2008 - Tropical Beach themed Christmas Party - in January!
Create Events produced a beach party for New Look's Weymouth staff that featured a tropical theme with steel pans, african acrobats, Baywatch lifeguards, indoor beach volleyball and surf games, pineapple rum cocktails, fire eaters, reggae bands, Tikki bars, Bounty ice creams... oh and Radio One's Scott Mills! 25 February 2008 - Lufthansa launch flights from London City to Berlin Tegel with Create
London City Airport and Create Events devised a publicity launch for Lufthansa Airline to promote their new route from London City to Berlin Tegel. A burlesque dancer called Cherri Shakewell fan danced across the terminal at London City Airport, giving passengers a taste of Berlin with her balloon popping antics. Airport executives raised a giant Martini glass to the launch. Click here for video and press from the event.
25 February 2008 - Create produce London City Airport's Winter Expo
Create Events devised and produced a two day spectacular in the heart of the City to promote winter routes for Swiss, British Airways and AirFrance/CityJet. A huge Swiss branded ski slope was erected in London's Broadgate Circle, complete with amazing trick stunt skiers demonstrating their skills on ramps and obstacles. A highlight for the public was being able to slide down the artificial slope in large 'tubes' provided by Swiss Airlines. The Winter Expo continued into other areas of Broadgate, with AirFrance sponsoring a realistic Ski Blizzard attraction with guests donning goggles and being blasted with artificial snow balls, whilst navigating a virtual ski simulator. British Airways sponsored a winter wonderland themed area with Gluehwein, hot chocolate and an inflatable snowboard challenge. Sponsors captured data with competitions to win flights and ski lessons from the Warren Smith Ski Academy, with much PR generated in the City and travel press.
25 February 2008 - London City Airport launch flights to Oslo
We created an experiential interactive event for London City Airport and SAS Airlines to promote the launch of a new route from London City to Oslo. The event centred around a team of Amundson's Norwegian explorers, frostbitten and snow covered, returning home with their Norwegian flags. The explorers greeted commuters at Canary Wharf tube station whilst SAS staff handed out thousands of goody bags. The explorers also travelled across London from Broadgate to the London Eye searching for the quickest way back to Oslo.
25 February 2008 - Create launch online 'Video Browser'
Create are pleased to launch an online video mini-site for clients to browse and watch promotional videos. Artistes are divided into categories for ease of selection including cabaret, comedy, circus, dancers, themes, tributes and party bands.

We produced the Visit USA ball at the Dorchester with spectacular confetti canons, New Orleans Jazz Bands and some athletic authentic American Footballers.
01 July 2007 - Star Wars Cantina Band created
Create Events put together a superb jazz band with a difference - the Cantina band from Star Wars with the alien heads! The Alien Jazz Band play some of the best known theme tunes from Sci Fi films and TV shows along with other space themed songs. The Alien Jazz Band made their debut in front of 4000 people at a Cisco Systems networking conference in Cannes, courtesy of George P Johnson. Create also supplied may other Sci-Fi performers, from Arnie and Jean-Luc Picard to Hans Solo and Ripley from Alien.

30 November 2006 - Visit Florida event goes 007
The 2006 Visit Florida dinner at the Savoy went for a Casino Royale 007 theme. A real Aston Martin DB5 wowed the guests as they arrived, which certainly impressed the American guests. Our Bond team of Odd Job, Jaws, Halle Berry, Sean Connery and bond girls greeted the guests and made them feel welcome. Other features included projected Bond DVD's and Gobos and a surprise appearance of Blofeld an his animatronic cat!
04 December 2005 - Sandown becomes Snowdown
We transformed Sandown racecourse for its weekend of 'Winter Jumpers' into Snowdown with over 10 tonnes of real snow, freshly arrived - from Holland! Christmas trees, snow machines, drifts of snow, live Snowmen, Ski Blizzards and snow board simulators all helped add the winter sparkle to a great weekends racing. We created a Snowzone in which the public were able to have real snowball fights, and an amazing venue from which both BBC and ITV reported the weekends weather, as well as featuring on Channel 4 Racing. We also sourced an Alpine continental market from France, and organised an exhibition of the latest snow and ski gear. The racecourse were delighted with the publicity, with a record 14,000 people attending!
28 November 2005 - Archant Newspaper Awards
We provided a choreographed show for the awards day that featured a combination of party sets from The Time Machine as well as backing The Counterfeit Concert. Our new dance troupe Entourage worked particularly well in backing, and almost outperforming, the tribute acts. Here's Counterfeit Kylie live onstage with Entourage.

28 November 2005 - Sandown go Vertigo
U2 tribute band U2UK were another brilliant addition to the Sandown season of post racing events. Create Events provided the stage, dramatic lighting, sound and production, whilst the band were projected on a big screen. Although a rather wet days' racing, the stirring finale made it a Beautiful Day!

27 November 2005 - Monaco meets The Time Machine
When IBM and GPJ wanted an idea for their 20th anniversary conference in Monaco, they came to Create to provide the ultimate party band through the decades - The Time Machine. We had great fun picking a top song from each of the 20 years that IBM had been coming to Monaco, and then theming our dancers to augment the show. The Time Machine are a superbly flexible band, who not only directed the customised show, but also provided a sophisticated after dinner performance of James Bond theme songs. Graphics behind the band depicted each year - our shot shows 1993 and a packed dance floor.

27 November 2005 - Fat Boy Tim's nightclub experience
We created a fabulous indoor nightclub in the exhibition hall of Sandown Racecourse for their post race party. A real change of atmosphere was produced with a large sound system, podiums with club dancers, amazing intelligent lighting, and of course the world's only lookalike DJ - Fat Boy Tim. Tim not only played all Fat Boy Slim's dance anthems, but other party and club classics, which kept the audience dancing well into the night. Tim is a superbly slick DJ, and co-incidentally an amazing lookalike - click on his link to see him meeting Norman Cook.

27 November 2005 - Sandown Racecourse rocks to Killer Queen
Sandown Racecourse rocked out to the UK's top Queen tribute band, Killer Queen, as part of a series of after racing spectaculars. Killer Queen feature the amazing performance of Pat Myers as Freddie, with his virtuoso performance and outrageous teeth. Create Events arranged the staging, sound and lights and band, as well as a pyrotechnic finale. 'We are the Champions' brought the race day to a fitting spectacular climax.

07 June 2005 - The Ultimate Football Party!
We were delighted to produce a football themed party for a well known football agent. This surprise party was themed to include not only the staff and caterers in authentic original Barnett F.C. football strips, but also the organisers as referees to ensure fair play! And play they did, with giant Stiltwalking footballers Wreckham and Bookem, pom-pom waving cheerleaders, a balloon net of inflatable soft footballs, several superb tribute bands, even a Match of the Day themed jazz band. So much fun was had both home and away.

07 June 2005 - Volvo go Formula 1!
Not a new make of car, but Volvo certainly got up to speed with our superb 8 lane Scalextrics. Not only did they zoom around the track and furiously lap each other, but games were flagged and winners rated with a digital lap timer. This track really hit the marque!

05 December 2004 - Tenors Incognito rock Florida
The three undercover singers, this time disguised as Chef, Create Events front of house staff and Event MC, burst into song for the Visit Florida Assiciation at their annual UK dinner at Middle Temple. In such an historic wooden pannelled venue the Tenors Incognito voices literally soared to the rafters. These big voices really do make a big impact. Visit Florida client Sue Broomfield said " The Tenors were such a talking point, and made a wonderful after dinner cabaret moment".

24 June 2004 - Marilyn for Tom Branson
Our amazing Marilyn Monroe lookalike Suzi Kennedy was guest of honour at Richard Branson's son's surprise birthday party. Her party trick? Popping out of a giant Birthday Cake and singing 'Happy Birthday' of course! Suzi is in great demand and has appeared at various venues for us this month, from the kensington Roof Gardens to The Palm Beach Hotel, Bierut!

05 May 2004 - Create Events & Sandown Racecourse
Create Events produced a winner at the Gold Cup race at Sandown Racecourse, Esher in April. We supplied a complete production package of Stage, P.A. Lights and band and event management. After the racing, the Winners enclosure was rocking with the performance by Blues Brothers 2001, who entertained racegoers late into the afternoon and early evening. The crowd boogied away to the band - to the delight of the sponsor. Blues Brothers 2001 were a fabulous 10 piece live band, including horn section and backing singers, who shook their tailfeathers on the catwalk aprons that were erected into the audience, givin' the crowd some lovin'!
